The overview: your figures in one cockpit

You open Easyclose and see straight away how the business is doing: net revenue, gross margin, EBITDA and cash, each with the comparison against last year or budget and the trend alongside. Not a report you first have to build, but a cockpit that is there as soon as your figures are. Every KPI is a starting point: click and you are in the report beneath it.

The comparison is fair: the same number of months as your actuals, so no skewed comparison of nine months against twelve. You can also build your own dashboard with draggable widgets, but you do not have to.

The P&L the way you arrange it

No fixed layout from an accounting package: your profit & loss follows your own reporting structure. You drag accounts into categories, set the order and put subtotals such as EBITDA exactly where you want them, or you start from a template. Every month your import lands in that same layout automatically.

Categories, order and subtotals are yours; the figures come straight from your entries. And every amount in this table is clickable down to the entry line beneath it.

A balance sheet that demonstrably balances

A balance sheet is only a balance sheet when it balances. Easyclose guards that automatically, and the first checks already run at import: does the balance sheet balance, do debits and credits agree, is every period complete. The result is automatically included in equity, so assets and liabilities land on the same total at every reporting date.

If something is off, you see it before the import, not afterwards in a skewed report. Green means: you can build on every figure.

Cash flow, working capital and forecast

Profit is an opinion, cash is a fact. The liquidity module shows where your money goes: the cash flow statement from result down to the movement in cash, the working capital analysis with debtor, creditor and inventory days, and a forecast of your cash position months ahead, with payment terms and an honest bandwidth.

The opening balance of the financial year is automatically last year's closing balance. The forecast uses your budget and your actual payment terms, and shows a bandwidth from cautious to optimistic instead of one falsely precise number.

Three tabs, one story: where your cash comes from, where it is tied up and where it is going. The working capital analysis works out for you how much cash one day less in debtor days frees up.

One filter bar, every report follows

The same bar sits at the top of every report. You pick the reporting month and switch with one click between Month, YTD (the year up to and including your month), LE (the full-year forecast: actuals up to and including your month plus budget for the rest) and LTM (the last twelve months, across the year boundary too). Comparing against last year or budget is one tick. Every screen follows the bar, all the way to the consolidation.

From figure to entry, from table to Excel

A report you cannot click through only raises questions. In Easyclose every amount is a starting point: click it and the entries beneath unfold, down to date, entry number and invoice reference. And every table you see on screen lands in your downloads as an Excel file with one click.

How it works

From accounting export to a complete reporting pack, without a report builder and without a consultant.

STEP 2

Pick your month and window

Set the filter bar to your reporting month and choose Month, YTD, LE or LTM. Tick last year or budget and every report follows.

STEP 3

Read, click through and share

Dashboard, P&L, balance sheet and liquidity are ready. Click any amount down to the entry, export any table to Excel or create the monthly pack.

Everything is already waiting for you in the demo

The demo runs entirely in your browser with fictitious figures, no account needed. Open the P&L, switch from Month to YTD, tick last year and click an amount: within two minutes you will feel how it works.

  • Dashboard, P&L, balance sheet and liquidity ready straight away
  • One filter bar: Month, YTD, LE and LTM

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to build reports myself?

No. After your import, the dashboard, P&L, balance sheet and liquidity are ready straight away. You do adjust the layout fully: categories, order and subtotals such as EBITDA are yours to set in your reporting structure, or you start from a template. Building your own dashboards with draggable widgets comes on top, but it is optional.

What do Month, YTD, LE and LTM mean?

Month shows only your reporting month. YTD is the year up to and including that month. LE is the full-year forecast: your actuals up to and including your month, topped up with your budget for the rest of the year. LTM is the last twelve months up to and including your month, across the year boundary too. You switch with one click in the filter bar, and every report follows.

Can I compare against budget and last year?

Yes, with a tick in the filter bar. You see the difference in percentages, euros or both, and the colour follows the meaning: higher revenue is green, higher costs red. Comparing per month works too, with a heatmap that colours the largest variances. More on Compare & budget.

Does the balance sheet always balance?

The checks already run at import: does the balance sheet balance, do debits and credits agree, are all periods complete. If something is off, you see it before the import instead of afterwards in a skewed report. The running result is automatically included in equity, so assets and liabilities agree at every reporting date. More about the import.

Does it work per BV and consolidated?

Yes. Every report works per entity, and with multiple entities also consolidated, with visible intercompany eliminations and an automatic intercompany check. The filter bar works there just the same, and you can click through a consolidated figure down to the entry in the underlying BV. More about consolidation.

Can I export to Excel or PDF?

Every large table exports to Excel with one click, exactly as it appears on screen. For a complete monthly pack in PDF or PowerPoint, in your own house style and with the blocks you choose, there is the management report.
