Connect the AI you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, directly to your figures in Easyclose. Ask your question in plain language and get an answer based on your up-to-date entity, without exporting and without your data ever leaving your own environment.
MCP is, simply put, a secure plug between your AI and your figures. There is nothing to program and nothing to export: you switch the connection on once, and from then on your AI can query your entity as if it had direct access, but always within your permissions.
Your entity, P&L, balance sheet, consolidation and intercompany check are already in place in Easyclose. Nothing changes there.
The connection gives your AI a fixed set of safe questions it is allowed to ask, such as "give me the 2025 P&L" or "check the intercompany accounts". Nothing more and nothing less.
Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot asks those questions on your behalf and gives you a readable answer. You simply type your question.
AI in the books sounds exciting, until you wonder where your figures actually end up. The MCP connection is built precisely to take that problem away: you keep control, your data stays under your own management, and you use the AI your employer has already approved.
Your figures are not copied to an AI vendor and not used to train models. The AI asks a question, gets exactly that answer, and your entity stays right where it is: in your own Easyclose environment in the EU.
Many employees end up pasting figures into some random free AI tool. With this connection you use the AI your organisation has already approved, such as Microsoft Copilot or a business Claude or ChatGPT account. No more shadow AI.
The connection works with your login and your permissions. The same protection that applies in the app applies here too: your AI can only reach the organisation and entities that you yourself can. Nothing beyond that.
The connection is read-only. The AI can retrieve and analyse your figures, but never change, book or delete anything in them. So there is zero risk of an unwanted change.
You never work with an outdated Excel file again. The AI fetches every answer live from your entity, so the answer matches today's position.
No pivot tables or search filters. You ask your question the way you would ask a colleague, and the AI picks the right data from Easyclose to go with it.
No IT project and nothing to install on your computer. All you need is an AI assistant that supports connections (such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot Studio) and these four steps.
Enable the MCP module in your Easyclose environment. One tick, done. You will then see the address of the connection.
In your AI assistant, open the section for connections or connectors, choose "add" and paste the address Easyclose gave you.
Your AI opens a secure Easyclose login screen. You log in as usual and give consent. That gives the AI exactly your permissions, nothing more.
Type, for example, "Which entities do I have?" or "Give me the 2025 P&L". The connection is live, and stays in place for next time.
The exact buttons differ per AI assistant. A step-by-step guide per program is in the help centre (in Dutch). Stuck? Email hallo@easyclose.nl and we will walk you through it.
The MCP connection is ready and waiting in Easyclose. Add it for €19 per month and give your own AI access to your own figures today, secure, read-only and fully under your own control.
No. The connection is fully read-only. The AI can retrieve and analyse your figures, but never book, change or delete anything in them. So nothing can break.
Your entity stays in your own Easyclose environment in the EU. The AI only requests a specific answer (for example "the 2025 P&L") and gets exactly that. How your AI vendor then handles those answers is something you decide with your own, approved AI account; that is exactly why you use a business account instead of some random free tool.
No. The connection works with your personal login and your permissions, enforced at database level. The AI sees only the organisation and entities you yourself have access to, exactly as in the app.
An AI assistant that supports connections (MCP). That includes Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot Studio. You use your own account with them; Easyclose provides the connection.
No. You switch on the module, paste one address into your AI and log in once. After that your AI remembers the connection. Nothing needs to be installed on your computer.
The MCP connection is an optional add-on module of €19 per month. You use your own AI account alongside it; you pay for that separately with your own AI vendor.
